In mid-to-late September, Tongee Medical participated in two major international innovation events: the Shanghai 2025 InnoMatch Technology Transfer Conference and the Fourth Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou. Tongee Medical's innovative strength has been repeatedly recognized by leading organizations. With its core focus on Chinese innovation, the company continues to export "Chinese wisdom" to the world.
Using the “Belt and Road” as an anchor
Creating a window for Chinese technology exports
From September 20-22, 2025, the 2025 InnoMatch Technology Transfer Conference, themed "Vanity's Demands, Global Challenges," was successfully held at the Zhangjiang Science Hall in Pudong, Shanghai. As China's first technology event centered on "innovation needs," the conference established an international platform for connecting demand, achievements, talent, and capital. This platform not only facilitates the export of Chinese technology, but also paves the way for global innovation to be implemented in China, deeply aligned with the “Belt and Road” Initiative.

As a national high-tech enterprise dedicated to building innovative platforms for innovative gastrointestinal therapies and related medical equipment, disease management, and solutions, Tongee Medical's core product, the gastric bypass stent system, has been approved in multiple countries, including Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and Ecuador. It provides innovative technological assistance to countries along the “Belt and Road”, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and South America. Its innovative interventional therapy is effectively helping to improve medical standards in various regions, and is bringing the cultural confidence of China's research on innovative therapies and devices from "academic exchange" to a new stage of "clinical practice."

During the conference, Tongee Medical showcased its full-process integrated solution for the diagnosis and treatment of metabolic diseases. The exhibition attracted numerous colleagues, experts and scholars from home and abroad to stop and exchange ideas and conduct in-depth discussions on innovative technologies. The atmosphere was lively and effectively promoted the deep integration of cutting-edge medical technologies in the field of metabolic disease diagnosis and treatment at home and abroad.
Developing a new blue ocean for digital healthcare
Deepening strategic collaboration with Indonesia
From September 25-29, 2025, the Fourth Global Digital Trade Expo, co-hosted by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and the Ministry of Commerce, was successfully held at the Hangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center. As China's only national, international, and professional exhibition in the digital trade sector, this year's expo, themed "Seeing the Future of Innovation at the Digital Trade Expo," featured digital healthcare as a core sector, focusing on the transformation of cutting-edge technologies and the development of a global collaborative ecosystem—a move highly aligned with Tongee Medical's dual-driven strategy of "interventional + digital."

Tongee Medical is dedicated to providing comprehensive, end-to-end solutions for people with obesity and metabolic diseases. Its independently developed digital therapy (DTx) health management platform, which deeply integrates artificial intelligence with chronic disease management, has received China's first medical device registration certificate for weight loss software and was recently listed on the Shanghai Digital Exchange. Tongee Medical is collaborating with various sectors to build a new intelligent healthcare ecosystem. Its closed-loop "offline treatment + online management" model, formed in conjunction with its gastric bypass stent system, has garnered significant attention from institutions both domestically and internationally, becoming a focal point of the digital healthcare exhibition area.
Notably, Indonesia, one of the guest countries at this year's Global Digital Trade Expo, is a strategic location for Tongee Medical's overseas expansion. Having received Indonesian medical device registration in October 2024, Tongee Medical completed Southeast Asia's first clinical gastric bypass stent system implantation in Jakarta, Indonesia, in early September of this year. Leveraging the Global Digital Trade Expo, Tongee Medical further deepened its collaboration with Indonesia in promoting the development of innovative medical technologies across the “Belt and Road” and in building a digital healthcare ecosystem, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent large-scale penetration of its gastric bypass stent system in the Southeast Asian market.

Tongee Medical's two appearances were not simply a showcase of achievements, but rather precise moves in its globalization strategy: the InnoMatch conference focused on technology transfer, paving the way for Tongee Medical to connect its "Chinese solutions" with overseas markets; the Global Digital Trade Expo focused on digital collaboration, supporting Tongee Medical's breakthrough in its "interventional + digital" ecosystem.
Going forward, Tongee Medical will continue to focus on "gastrointestinal interventional therapy" and leverage digital management tools to deepen its presence in countries along the “Belt and Road”, making its original Chinese technology a universally accessible option for patients with obesity and metabolic diseases worldwide.
